The AMA Retail & Pricing SIG welcomes applications for the following awards, which will be presented at the 2023 Summer Educators’ Conference. Award details and application procedures are outlined below.

The deadline for applications is May 22, 2023.

IMPORTANT

– Nominees for all awards should be a member of the Retail and Pricing SIG of the American Marketing Association (AMA) at the time of application, and the nomination letter should specifically mention this point. – Those currently holding leadership positions in the RAPSIG are NOT eligible for the following awards.

– Past winners* are also ineligible

Please submit nominations to Courtney Szocs (cszocs@lsu.edu) and Hsiao-Ching Jean Kuo (hkuo@washjeff.edu) with the ‘subject line’ of the email mentioning [Lifetime Achievement Award 2023] or [Emerging Scholar Award 2023].

Award Details and Application Procedures

Lifetime Achievement Award 2023.

This award honors a scholar who has contributed significantly to research in the field of Retailing and/or Pricing. Nominations (self-nominations are welcome) should include a cover letter demonstrating the candidate’s significant contributions, and a current CV. Nominations will be reviewed by a panel of distinguished retailing scholars. Applicants should be full professors, with at least 20 years of academic experience post PhD.

Emerging Scholar Award 2023

The award acknowledges emerging scholars (received PhD in 2016, or later) who have made significant contributions to research in the areas of Retailing and/or Pricing. Nominations (self-nominations are welcome) should include a cover letter as to why the nominee is a good candidate for this award, and a current CV.

*Past winners may have won awards either for Retailing and/or Pricing; in either case, would be ineligible to apply
