The AMA Retail & Pricing SIG welcomes applications for the following awards, which will be presented at the 2022 Summer Educators’ Conference. Award details and application procedures are outlined below.
The deadline for applications is May 1, 2022.
IMPORTANT
– Nominees for all awards should be a member of the Retail and Pricing SIG of the American Marketing Association (AMA) at the time of application, and the nomination letter should specifically mention this point. – Current office holders of the AMA Retail & Pricing SIG are NOT eligible to receive any award.
– Past award winners for retailing or pricing are ineligible
Please submit nominations to cszocs@lsu.edu and snoble@utk.edu with the ‘subject line’ of the email mentioning one of [Lifetime Achievement Award 2022] or [Emerging Scholar Award 2022].
Award Details and Application Procedures
The nomination letter should
-specifically attest that the nominee is a member of the Retail and Pricing SIG
-indicate if the nominee has won the award (being applied for) prior.
- Lifetime Achievement Award 2022.
This award honors a scholar who has contributed significantly to research in the field of Retailing and/or Pricing. Nominations (self-nominations are welcome) should include a cover letter demonstrating the candidate’s significant contributions, and a current CV. Nominations will be reviewed by a panel of distinguished retailing scholars. Applicants should be full professors, with at least 20 years of academic experience post PhD.
- Emerging Scholar Award 2022
This award is to honor individuals who have exceeded expectations for their rank in terms of service to retailing and/or pricing. The nominee should have demonstrated exceptional service to the fields of retailing and/or pricing. Nominations (self-nominations are welcome) should include a cover letter explaining why the nominee is a good candidate for the award, and also include a current CV highlighting service appointments.
