The Emerging Scholar Award recognizes scholars (who received a PhD in 2016 or later) and have developed outstanding research in retailing and/or pricing. This year’s recipients are:
Annika Abell (University of Tennessee)
Dr. Annika Abell completed her PhD in marketing from the University of South Florida in 2019. She has been published in the Journal of Consumer Research, Journal of Interactive Marketing, and Psychology & Marketing. She has several advanced revisions at marketing’s top journals and she’s just getting started.
Unnati Narang (University of Illinois)
A 2020 graduate of Texas A&M University, Dr. Unnati Narang, is our second emerging scholar. She already has publications in the Journal of Marketing Research, Journal of the Academy of marketing Science, and Marketing Science. Can’t wait to see what she does next!
