We are excited to highlight the winners of the RAPSIG Service Award. This award is to honor individuals who have exceeded expectations for their rank in terms of service to retailing and/or pricing. This year’s recipients, Anne Roggeveen (Babson University) and Lauren Beitelspacher (Babson University), have demonstrated exceptional service to the fields of retailing and pricing.

Anne L. Roggeveen (Ph.D. Columbia University)

Dr. Roggeveen is the Charles Clarke Reynolds Professor of Retailing & Marketing at Babson College and and Joint Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Retailing, where she formerly served as an Associate Editor. She currently serves as an AE at the Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science. She also serves on many editorial boards including the Journal of Marketing, Journal of Service Research, and Journal of Business Research. She has co-edited numerous special issues and organized multiple conferences related to retailing, pricing, and services. Moreover, she served as the Chair of RAPSIG from 2010-2014.

Lauren Skinner Beitelspacher (Ph.D., University of Alabama)

Dr. Beitelspacher is an Associate Professor in the Marketing Division at Babson College. She is a former Chair and VP of Communications for RAPSIG. She also currently serves as an Associate Editor (Retailing) at the Journal of Business Research and serves on the Editorial Review Board at the Journal of Retailing. She has also chaired AMA’s American Collegiate Retailing Association (ACRA) conference and served as a track chair and chaired numerous other events related to the areas of retailing and pricing.
